The Department of Psychiatry is committed to protect the privacy of our clients and users of the department. It will only collect, record, store, process, and use the personal information of its client in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other pertinent laws. Collection of Personal InformationThe role of the user will only collect the client's 'socio-demographic, diagnosis and management data record as required by our evaluation form through the system. You are not allowed to share, disclose, transmit or publish any client's data outside the department or to third party sources without any proper consent from the authorized person in the department. All client's data should be strictly confidential.
Security of Personal InformationThe department will implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, destruction, misuse, or alteration of data information. To ensure utmost protection, data will be stored the same on secured services provided by the Western Visayas Medical Center Management System.
